Devlog – The Game Is Finally Published
I’ve officially published my newest game!
This isn’t my first time making a game, but every release still feels special. After spending a lot of time building, testing, and polishing, it’s great to finally hit publish and see the project out in the world. This one has been a fun challenge from start to finish.
The goal with this game was to create a relaxing Mars mining experience focused on exploration, planning, and steady progression. You start small, venture out into the wasteland, gather resources, and return to upgrade your rover and base. A lot of effort went into making the core loop feel satisfying—balancing energy usage, travel distance, and upgrades so each trip feels meaningful.
Like always, development came with its share of problems. I had to work through balancing issues, unexpected bugs that only showed up after exporting, and moments where features needed to be simplified or reworked. Even with prior experience, there’s always something new to learn in every project.
Releasing this game feels like another step forward as a developer. I’m proud of how it turned out, and even more proud that I stayed consistent and pushed it to completion. Now that it’s live, the focus shifts to feedback, bug fixes, and potential updates to make the experience even better.
Thanks to everyone who checks it out and plays—it really means a lot.
